Informed Consent Policy
The journal adheres to the principles set forth in the Helsinki Declaration (http://www.wma.net/en/30publications/10policies/b3/index.html) and states that all reported research concerning human beings should be conducted in accordance with such principles. The journal also adheres to the International Guiding Principles for Biomedical Research Involving Animals (https://cioms.ch/bioethics/) recommended by the WHO and requires that all research on animals must be conducted in accordance with these principles.
Informed consent must be obtained if there is any doubt that anonymity can be maintained.
Patient IDs will not be published in «Human.Sport.Medicine» unless written informed consent is provided and the content is of significant importance for the manuscript. Photos depicting any recognizable features can be published only with the written permission of the patients, the same is for case reports that provide sufficient information about the person (except for name) to make recognition possible. Failure to obtain informed consent from the patient prior to submission will result in rejection of the manuscript.
