SOME FEATURES OF REGULATING ATHLETE EMPLOYMENT IN THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS

Abstract

Aim. The paper aims to analyze some legal norms, which allow to identify the main features of athletes as employees in the Republic of Belarus. Materials and methods. The study involves a number of general and specific scientific methods, including analysis, synthesis, induction and deduction. The research material includes the legislation of the Republic of Belarus that regulates sports-related activities and the publications of well-known Belarusian sports lawyers. Results. The analysis of the data obtained was performed and allowed to draw some conclusions about the main features of regulating athlete employment in the Republic of Belarus. Conclusions. It was found that the legal acts of the Republic of Belarus that regulate sports-related activities were more perfect than similar legal acts of the Russian Federation.
