MOTOR ACTIVITY AND INJURIES IN MEN IN THE FIRST FIVE YEARS OF OLD AGE
Abstract
Aim. To analyze the primary treatment of men ages 60–65 with injuries of the musculoskeletal system and head in medical institutions in Astrakhan and to identify the type and site of domestic and sports injuries. Materials and methods. Study material included official data on the primary treatment of men ages 60–65 with pain syndromes and injuries of the musculoskeletal system and head in the Astrakhan hospital. Results. In people without regular exercise, from 2014 to 2019, the most common injuries to the musculoskeletal system were those of a moderate and severe nature. A significant relationship was found between the type of physical activity and body mass index. Conclusion. The results obtained show that regular coordination exercise significantly reduces the risk of injuries associated with musculoskeletal disorders.
