DEVELOPING HUMAN CAPITAL THROUGH SPORT: UZBEKISTAN’S EXPERIENCE
Abstract
Aim. This study empirically examines the relationship between sports participation and human capital development in Uzbekistan. Materials and methods. The article provides a content analysis of literature and statistical sources, including those from the Uznet, RSCI, and Scopus databases. This combines both reviews and original articles focusing on the development of physical education and sports in Uzbekistan. Results. Despite its relevance, the relationship between human capital and sports participation remains poorly studied both in Russia and Uzbekistan. This can also be attributed to the research on the quality of human capital and sports education. Conclusion. A positive correlation was found between higher levels of education and increased participation in sports activities.
