EFFECT OF PHYSICAL EXERCISE ON STATOKINETIC STABILITY IN ATHLETES FROM VARIOUS SPORTS
Abstract
Aim. This paper aims to evaluate the effect of physical exercise on stabilographic parameters of statokinetic stability in athletes from different sports. Materials and methods. The study involved 227 male athletes with at least 9 years of training experience. The following methods were used: stabilography (force platform assessment of statokinetic stability), speed-strength testing, incremental cycle ergometry, and vestibular stimulation. Results. Athletes from situational sports demonstrate minimal changes after different types of physical exercise, whereas athletes from target sports and the control group exhibit a more pronounced statokinetic response. The area of the confidence ellipse is a reliable indicator for assessing differences in statokinetic stability between groups of athletes after physical exercise. Conclusion. Different types of physical activity have different effects on statokinetic stability. Therefore, athletes from different disciplines use various strategies for adaptation and compensation.
