COMPETITIVE ACTIVITIES IN HIGHLY SKILLED FREESTYLE WRESTLERS IN RUSSIA AND GEORGIA

Abstract

Aim. The aim of the study was to analyze competitive activity among highly skilled freestyle wrestlers in Russia and Georgia. Materials and methods. The competitive activity of freestyle wrestlers was studied by means of the criteria and tables developed by us. In the course of the study, video recordings of the official competitions were analyzed and compared in terms of technical and tactical actions. Results. The study revealed the advantages and disadvantages of athletes and contributed to the goal-oriented activities of athletes and timely correction of the training plan. Conclusion. The results of the study allow us to conclude that the subjects have high physical and technical-tactical fitness, which allows them to attack the opponent, to impose their fighting style and win.
