IMPROVING PHYSICAL FITNESS IN MIA UNIVERSITY STUDENTS WITH KETTLEBELL SPORT

Abstract

Aim. This paper presents the analysis of physical fitness in Ministry of Internal Affairs university students as well as the effect of kettlebell sport on the development of physical qualities. Materials and methods. This research is based on the analysis of the available literature, pedagogical observation, a survey, and a pedagogical experiment. The results obtained were statistically processed. The study involved 170 male students from the first to the fourth years of study. Results. The effectiveness of kettlebell exercise and its effect on the physical fitness of Ministry of Internal Affairs university students were experimentally proven. In particular, a special influence is exerted on the development of such professionally significant qualities as strength, endurance, speed, and agility. The results obtained and their dynamics are provided in the diagram. Conclusions. The results of the study unequivocally demonstrate the positive effect of kettlebell exercise introduced into the curriculum of physical PE lessons for Ministry of Internal Affairs university students. Endurance, dexterity, strength, and coordination of movements are formed through constant training with kettlebell exercises. Therefore, the physical training program should include them as good training will enable future employees to apply physical strength for delinquency prevention.
