Abstract

Aim. This study aims to establish a conceptual framework for developing healthy lifestyles among students as an integral component of Russia’s state youth policy, emphasizing the integrity of physical, psychological, and moral well-being through coordinated state and institutional efforts. Materials and methods. The research employs technical-legal analysis and review-analytical methods, supplemented by empirical data from student questionnaires. The survey instrument was designed to assess multiple health dimensions (physical, psychological, moral), local health indices, and barriers to healthy lifestyle adoption. Data interpretation utilized analytical methods including comparative analysis, synthesis, and generalization. Results. Findings indicate that sustainable student motivation for healthy lifestyle adherence stems from positive psychological dispositions rooted in comprehension of health's intrinsic value. Students demonstrating this behavioral paradigm exhibit greater readiness to maintain healthy lifestyles as a foundation for future self-actualization, encompassing both professional development and familial establishment. Conclusion. The study concludes that effective management of student health indices and healthy lifestyle culture requires systematic implementation through university educational programs. A pivotal recommendation involves institutionalizing “Valeology” as a mandatory academic discipline. The proposed conceptual model emphasizes widespread adoption of healthy lifestyle ideology among youth populations, positioning the cultivation of comprehensive health (physical, psychological, moral) as a strategic priority for both national youth policy and university-level initiatives.
