Abstract

Aim. This paper aims to provide experimental justification for the efficacy of dynamic movement intervention (DMI) in the physical rehabilitation of children aged 6–10 years with spastic diplegia. Materials and methods. The pedagogical experiment involved 10 children with spastic diplegia at a health center. A DMI-based training program was implemented (three sessions per week, 40–45 minutes each). Intervention efficacy was assessed by comparing physical and functional fitness measures before and after the experiment using Student’s t-test. Results. The findings demonstrated statistically significant positive changes (p < 0.01–0.001) across all parameters. The greatest improvements were observed in one-leg balance (+433% in females, +438% in males), static coordination (Romberg test: +231% and +226%, respectively), and unsupported walking distance (+229% and +230%). The cardiovascular system demonstrated enhanced adaptive capacity, reflected by a 11.8% decrease in post-exercise heart rate and a 24.2% faster recovery rate. Conclusion. The efficacy of the proposed DMI-based program for correcting movement disorders in children with spastic diplegia has been demonstrated, supporting its use in rehabilitation centers.
