ISSUES OF MASTERS SPORT AND THE WAYS TO SOLVE THEM (BASED ON THE EXAMPLE OF TRACK-AND-FIELD)

Abstract

Aim. The paper aims to develop an electronic service to standardize the results of masters competitions in track-and-field with the possibility of correlating the results with the Unified All-Russian Sports Classification. Materials and methods. Based on the experience of the World Masters Games in track-and-field, an electronic resource has been created with the Age-graded calculator. Results. The Age-graded calculator made it possible to present the results and compare them with the Unified All-Russian Sports Classification. As a public initiative, the Regulation on Sports Ranks and Ranks for Masters, as well as the Veteran Master of Sports and Veteran Master of Sports of the International Class honorary badges have been developed. Conclusion. This initiative will allow to achieve the goals of the Federal project entitled “Sport as a norm of life” and “Strategies for the development of physical education and sports in the Russian Federation up to 2030” in terms of increasing the number of older people who are systematically involved in physical education and sports.
