Abstract

Aim. The study aims to determine the anthropometric and functional characteristics of young oil industry workers in the northern region. Materials and methods. This study was conducted among part-time male students of the Tyumen Industrial University (Surgut branch). The study involved 203 young oil industry workers ages 20–35. Results. An age category (from 26 years) with an increased risk of changes in the cardiovascular system was determined. Conclusion. The study of functional characteristics revealed not only a deviation from age-related reference values but also a disturbance of the functions of the cardiovascular system.
