Abstract

Aim. To study the changes in adaptation to academic load influenced by psychophysical correction in schoolchildren. Materials and methods. We examined 3 rd , 5 th , and 8 th grade students. The study involved methods of cardiointervalography, computer-assisted testing of neurodynamic functions, and self-assessment of psycho-emotional state. Results. We revealed age-related and individual features of neurodynamics and 4 types of psychomotor functions according to the tapping test results in schoolchildren of the same age. Considering the obtained data we developed and introduced the psychophysical correction program including relaxation exercises. It is shown that implementing this program results in decreased functional stress and improved neurodynamic functions, especially in 3 rd and 5 th grade students. Conclusion. It was revealed that differentiated approach should be applied to the structure of psychophysical correction programs for schoolchildren of different ages.
