A CORRELATION ANALYSIS OF SPECIAL PHYSICAL QUALITIES AND PERFORMANCE OUTCOMES IN GROUP RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS
Abstract
Aim: This study investigates the special physical qualities required for elite athletic performance. Materials and methods. The study methods include theoretical analysis, surveys, and expert evaluation. Results. The analysis of the special physical qualities required for group rhythmic gymnastics provided a basis for selecting specialized means, forms, and methods to optimize special physical preparation across the preparatory, competitive, and transitional periods. Conclusion. The data obtained indicate differences in the development of special physical qualities among gymnasts performing in group events. These differences lead to a lack of synchrony in routine execution, errors in elements, and a consequent reduction in performance scores. All of the above necessitates the careful selection of corrective and preventive measures to lower the level of asymmetry among gymnasts.
