PROMOTING PHYSICAL EDUCATION VALUES IN THE DIGITAL ENVIRONMENT OF A UNIVERSITY
Abstract
Abstract. Aim. The paper aims to prove the effectiveness of digital technologies in the promotion of physical education in the educational environment of a university. Materials and methods. The study involved 1569 male and female full-time university students of Orenburg State Medical University. As a response to pandemics, statistical data were obtained through online surveys and in-depth interviews. Results. The respondents acquired basic knowledge of different digital tools, which allowed to monitor their physiological status. Increased levels of physical activity were found among online university students. Positive dynamics was observed with respect to students’ attitude towards health as a value. Conclusion. The systemic use of digital technologies in physical education contributed to personalized education, data visualization, physical and educational activities, and platform solutions as a space for pedagogical innovations.
