TRANSDISCIPLINARY APPROACH TO THE TRAINING PROCESS

Keywords: Transdisciplinary approach, method of multidimensional matrices, athlete’s selfrealization

Abstract

Aim. The article deals with establishing psychological features of transdisciplinary approach to the training process. Materials and methods. 120 persons aged 18–22 participated in the empirical study. To study psychological features of transdisciplinary ‘core’, we used Kudinov’s multidimensional questionnaire on personality’s self-realization. We also studied the subjective significance of transdisciplinary methods for the training process using a modified questionnaire developed by Lebedeva E.A. Results. We established that there is a tendency to the polarity of self-realization indicators in the general sample. In compliance with psychological features of personality’s self-realization, we introduced the method of multidimensional matrices including the collection of the elements of the training task using self-chosen parameters, which depend on self-realization. The presence of disciplines from the transdisciplinary field is a mandatory requirement. Using Fisher’s criterion, we revealed differences in the subjective significance of transdisciplinary methods in groups with a various level of self-realization before and after the application of multidimensional matrices. Conclusion. The method of multidimensional matrices as a transdisciplinary approach provides special significance to athlete’s self-realization and enhances the training process.
